Rainforest Glam Theme Dinner

In conjunction with their 25th Anniversary Celebration, Borneo Rainforest Lodge recently treated their business partners and clients to a grand and extravagant evening themed "Rainforest Glam". Boon Creative Productions was once again appointed to design, plan and deliver an event with a BIG wow factor, one that would create a big impact and long-lasting fond memories for both the guests and client.

 

Working on this event was no easy feat. While a super-exclusive six-course fine-dining menu had been planned for months, the client wanted the evening to be classy, elegant yet informal, cosy, non-pretentious and fun. To match Borneo Rainforest Lodge and what it epitomizes, we created ‘The Borneo Fusion Band II’ – a Percussions Opening Act, produced from scratch by Boon Creative Productions. The evening kicked off with wild, raw and energetic vibes, delivered through its unique and powerful performance.

 

To deliver an evening that is both elegant yet informal, Boon Creative had hand-picked renowned Master of Ceremonies, Ben Uzair as the event host. Ben hosted the evening in the most delightful and sophisticated ways, while at the same time enthusiastically sharing with guests throughout the evening about the exquisite menu and wines that were served.

 

The entertainment that was showcased during the evening was another exclusive, made-from-scratch production from Boon Creative. Classy, stylish, fun and ‘in-trend’ were the elements we had in mind when we designed the Band and Modern Dancers performances. And once again, we pushed ourselves to make the Highlight Acts LIVE (yes not performed to minus-one). 

 

The extensive work involved to create a live show with band and dancers performing together is not something common in Sabah. We took our inspiration from the 70s as well current big names such as Beyonce and Ariana Grande. Although MTV plays a big influence in our Shows, Boon Creative never fails to inject its own creativity and style into our stage productions. For this and the fun-filled, vibrant and ultra-modern performances, we received countless compliments, ‘oohs and aahs’ from the client and guests. And yes it was the talk of the town for many weeks after that.

 

Boon Creative Productions also provided on-site event and floor management for this black-tie event. With more than 30 stage performers and an elaborate Western fine-dining affair to coordinate, we had a full team of six event personnel, stage and floor managers to ensure that evening would go seamlessly and smoothly. The evening ended on a high note (as shown in the photos) whereby guests and client were mesmerized, had so much fun and an event that they would remember for a long time!
