HSBC was and remains one of the largest names in banking. We simply could not pass up the opportunity to collaborate with a Hong Kong-based destination management company (DMC) when they contacted us to work on an Outdoor Gala Dinner for the global bank. The 170-pax event was to celebrate the achievement of HSBC employees across the Asia-Pacific region, while our main task involved conceptualising the event theme and turning it into a reality.

From the get-go, we knew the event had to be spectacular with a huge “WOW” factor. We thought of glamourous beachy vibes and opted to execute a very “grown-up” picnic complete with a fireworks show at the end of the night! The event was high-stakes as it was one of very few outdoor events we had to plan with a large fireworks display. We had to be meticulous, especially with the pyrotechnics aspect of the event.

Needless to say, we delivered! From entertainment, decor, event styling, on-site execution and to the finale fireworks — every aspect was smooth sailing. Our client and end-user HSBC were overwhelmed with the success of their event! We had put on quite a show and they and their guests had enjoyed themselves, as well as captured fantastic memories at the outdoor gala. At the end of the night, we received feedback that the client would be glad to work with us again. We are happy that they were happy, making it a job well done for us!
